With a heavy heart I tell all of you that Christine's Mother suddenly passed away Friday Morning August 22nd at 8 am. This is her obituary as it appeared in the Akron Beacon Journal on Saturday and Sunday the 23rd and 24th of August.

Hello Everyone
Just wanted to let everyone know that we have safely arrived back in the States until sometime in the month of October. Those are our plans as of now. Our trip home was uneventful and probably one of the best in recent memory. We actually were able to sleep on the plane! (Must be getting old) Thanks to all of you for your prayers for the trip. We had our last meeting with our group and it was a good time of sharing and figuring out what the future might look like. Everyone seems to be ready for the next step. Only the Lord knows and we want to follow Him in that! Please continue to pray for us.

Wow what excuses can we come up with for how long it has been since we have updated this website?? Well probably none that anyone wants to hear :-)

In case anyone was wondering we are still alive over here and doing ok. It really has been a rough time in many ways but we have survived and really are doing well. Since I (David) have been back in Ukraine many things have been happening. I will do my best to remember the highlights of the past 3-4 months. We had the best intentions of writing updates every month but as you can see it has been a "little" longer than that!
